Norma will sing sacred songs of her own composition, as well as 900-year-old chants composed by the medieval mystic, visionary, abbess, and one of the earliest-known composers, Hildegard von Bingen (1098-1179). She is accompanied by Candace Keach on Tibetan flute, as well as by ancient singing bowls from the eastern meditation tradition of Tibet, the Harmonium and Schruti box, devotional instruments of India, and audience- derived harmonic tones. Who is Norma? A recording artist of four solo CDs, an energy healer and channeler. Trained classically at the University of Michigan in opera, Norma found early on her gift to see auras, the electromagnatic field around the physical body, and saw how music effected the physical body. As a singer of healing music she works with the Hathors and Hildegard's medieval chants.
